Finding Fitness was born from a simple belief: Every Body deserves to feel strong, capable, and at home in movement.

For too long, the fitness world has been shaped by intimidation, unrealistic expectations, and one‑size‑fits‑all programs. Melissa, the founder of Finding Fitness, saw how many people were being left out — especially beginners, older adults, and anyone who never felt represented in traditional gym spaces.

She set out to build something different.

With a background in several types of training and a passion for meeting people exactly where they are, Melissa created Finding Fitness as a place where judgment has no home and progress is defined by the individual. Here, fitness isn’t about shrinking yourself or fitting a mold. It’s about discovering what your body can do, building confidence through movement, and celebrating strength in all its forms.

Every program is personalized, thoughtful, and rooted in compassion. Whether someone is rebuilding stability, improving bone density, learning foundational movements, or stepping into fitness for the very first time, they’re supported with patience, education, and encouragement.
